The goal of The ESRG Tool Set is to provide functionality related to |
16 |
the design and construction of embedded systems, for free, and with the |
17 |
advantages of open-source.
|
18 |

We welcome all contributions of tools, all contributions of |
19 |
papers and articles, and all assistance.
|
20 |

If you wish to contribute a tool, here are the restrictions and the |
21 |
expectations:
|
22 |

|
23 |

You must be willing and legally able to place the tool under the GPL.
|
24 |

You must maintain the tool source code in CVS |
25 |
at SourceForge.
|
26 |

You must maintain the documentation for the tool in CVS at SourceForge. |
27 |
All forms of documentation are welcome, but usually the best approach is to |
28 |
incorporate the documentation into the ESRG |
29 |
microcontroller software book.
|
30 |

You must be willing to assume zonal responsibility for the tool (react to |
31 |
bug reports, etc.).
|
32 |

You must be willing to interact with CVS directly to make changes, |
33 |
corrections, etc.
|
34 |

|
35 |

If you wish to contribute a paper or article, here are the restrictions and |
36 |
expectations:
|
37 |

|
38 |

You must be legally able to place the paper or article on the web and |
39 |
bundle it with the ESRG Windows® tool set (usually, this means you must be |
40 |
the copyright holder).
|
41 |

You must maintain the paper or article in CVS |
42 |
at SourceForge.
|
43 |

You must be willing to assume zonal responsibility for the paper or |
44 |
article (react to comments, corrections, inquiries, etc.).
|
45 |

You must be willing to interact with CVS directly to make changes, |
46 |
corrections, etc.
|
